The Syahadat of Dela Irna Sinaga Echoes Through Al Manar Mosque at UMPO

UMPO.AC.ID – A light drizzle at Al-Manar Mosque, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, on Friday, October 31, 2025, witnessed a spiritual journey filled with meaning. In a serene and emotional atmosphere, Dela Irna Sinaga solemnly recited the syahadat, marking her first step as a Muslim woman.

The sacred declaration was guided directly by the Secretary of the Board of Trustees (BPH) of UMPO, Drs. H. Muh. Syafrudin, M.A., in front of the congregation and university representatives. Each word she uttered resonated softly yet powerfully, filling the mosque with gratitude and joy.

“This Friday afternoon we together witnessed the syahadat of our sister, Ms. Dela Irna Sinaga, who has returned to the fold of Islam at Al-Manar Mosque, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. May she remain steadfast in her faith, and may Allah SWT ease her path in learning and practicing Islam,” said Drs. H. Muh. Syafrudin, M.A.

He also expressed congratulations and prayers for Dela’s heartfelt decision.
