Transforming Learning UMPO Encourages Lecturers to Use Technology in Textbooks

UMPO.AC.ID – The Learning Development Division (BPP) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) held a Workshop on Textbook Development Using Technology as part of efforts to enhance quality and innovation in the learning process.

Dr. Nur’aini, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., Head of BPP UMPO, stated that the event reflects the institution’s commitment to encouraging lecturers to adapt to technological developments in education.

"At BPP, we are committed to motivating lecturers to improve their teaching methods. In this workshop, we invited an expert, Dr. Nuryakin, M.M., from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, who also serves as Director of the Learning Directorate at UMY," said Dr. Nur’aini.

She further expressed hope that the workshop would provide a space for lecturers to continue learning, collaborating, and innovating to create teaching that is creative, effective, and relevant to the demands of the times.

"We hope that activities like this will inspire UMPO lecturers to further develop themselves and contribute to realizing the university’s vision as an excellent institution," she added.

The workshop also serves as an important moment to strengthen an academic culture that is adaptive to technology while fostering the creation of scholarly works that benefit the development of education at UMPO.
