A New Spirit UMPO Ju Jitsu Club Holds Board Inauguration and Anniversary Celebration

UMPO.AC.ID  -  The Ju-Jitsu Student Activity Unit (UKM Ju-Jitsu) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) held its New Board Inauguration and Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Seminar Room, Dome Building, 1st Floor, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo.

The event was attended by around 30 participants, consisting of former and new board members, active members, alumni, invited guests from other student organizations, as well as the club’s advisor and the Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BAMA) UMPO.

The purpose of the event was to officially inaugurate the new Ju-Jitsu board members, strengthen the club’s organizational structure, and foster a sense of responsibility, solidarity, and pride among members. Through this anniversary celebration, all members were encouraged to renew their loyalty, unity, and enthusiasm in advancing UKM Ju-Jitsu.

The Committee Chair, Rio Febriand, stated that the event was not merely ceremonial, but also a moment to refresh the spirit and commitment of all members.

“Through this event, we hope every member will be more motivated to train, uphold sportsmanship, and actively contribute to the development of the Ju-Jitsu club,” he said.

Rio added that this new enthusiasm from both board members and athletes is expected to drive UKM Ju-Jitsu UMPO to achieve greater accomplishments — not only within the university but also at regional and national levels.

With a strong sense of togetherness and sportsmanship, UKM Ju-Jitsu UMPO is determined to remain a platform for student development — nurturing individuals who are not only physically strong, but also disciplined, principled, and full of integrity.
