UMPO Vice Rector III Attends AIK Curriculum Socialization and PTKIM Consolidation at UMG

UMPO.AC.ID – Vice Rector III of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO), Dr. Sugeng Wibowo, M.H., attended an event organized by the Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (Majelis Diktilitbang) of Muhammadiyah Central Board. The event, titled Socialization of the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) Curriculum and Consolidation of Muhammadiyah Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIM), was held at Universitas Muhammadiyah (UM) Gresik.

This activity is part of the Division I program of Majelis Diktilitbang PP Muhammadiyah, focusing on strengthening and developing the AIK curriculum across Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA). The socialization aimed to produce two main outcomes: the Guidelines for the Implementation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) Education for Leaders, Lecturers, and Educational Staff within PTMA, and the Guidelines for the Development of the Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) Curriculum in PTMA (Undergraduate, Professional, Master’s, and Doctoral levels).

The AIK socialization was divided into three regional zones—west, central, and east. For the central zone, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik served as the first host, attended by representatives from 75 Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah universities across Java.

UMPO’s participation in this event reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening the implementation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values within the academic environment. Moreover, the forum serves as a strategic platform to reinforce collaboration among PTMA in developing Islamic, excellent, and progressive curriculum frameworks.
