UMPO.AC.ID – The Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO), Dr. Rido Kurnianto, M.Ag., attended the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Forum of Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA), held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).
The four-day event, taking place from October 16–19, 2025, gathered around 160 rectors from Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah universities across Indonesia. The meeting served as a strategic momentum to strengthen collaboration, leadership, and the formulation of future educational policies within the Muhammadiyah higher education network.
More than just an annual agenda, the PTMA National Working Meeting became a platform for university leaders to share experiences, enhance institutional governance, and find collective solutions to the evolving challenges in higher education.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a series of strategic activities, including plenary sessions, thematic discussions, and policy formulation aimed at improving the quality and competitiveness of Muhammadiyah universities nationwide.
Through the participation of the UMPO Rector in this national forum, it is expected that stronger inter-PTMA networks will be built, fostering quality improvement, innovation, and UMPO’s contribution to advancing Muhammadiyah education at both national and global levels.
