Vice Rector III of UMPO Opens Alumni Strengthening Program

UMPO.AC.ID – The Vice Rector III of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO), Dr. Sugeng Wibowo, M.H., officially opened the Alumni Strengthening Program held prior to the graduation ceremony on Tuesday (14/10) at the UMPO Expotorium. The event was attended by more than a thousand prospective graduates.

In his address, Dr. Sugeng expressed his gratitude to all the soon-to-be graduates for entrusting UMPO as their place of higher education until they reached this significant milestone—graduation. He also extended his apologies for any shortcomings that might have occurred during their studies.

“On behalf of the university, we express our gratitude and apologies if there were any shortcomings during your study process. We continue to strive for improvement in the student affairs sector,” he said.

Dr. Sugeng added that this program is part of UMPO’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of its graduates. “Just as in a production system there is quality control, this program serves as our version of it. We aim to provide insights and facilitate our alumni to be well-prepared for the world of work,” he explained.

The Alumni Strengthening Program is a collaboration between UMPO and Kinobi Indonesia, focusing on career preparation and personal development for graduating students.
