A Mother s Love The Everlasting Strength of the UMPO Academic Community

UMPO.AC.ID -  A mother has always been a source of strength, prayer, and unconditional love. In a meaningful moment, leaders and heads of units at Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) shared heartfelt reflections on the profound role of mothers as protectors, motivators, and lifelong role models.

The Head of the Institutional Quality Assurance Agency of UMPO, Laili Isro’in, M.Kep, described her mother as a strong and extraordinary figure. According to her, a mother’s steadfastness and prayers form the foundation of every step taken in life.

A similar sentiment was expressed by Susana Natalia, S.E, Head of the University Secretariat Division, who described her mother as a resilient woman and a pillar of strength for the family in all circumstances.

For Dr. Nur’aini, M.Pd.I, Head of the Learning Development Division, her mother is an extraordinary person. Her sincerity, patience, and sacrifices have become a lasting source of inspiration in carrying out her role as an educator and contributor to society.

Meanwhile, Imron Syafrini, S.Sos, Head of Academic and Student Affairs Administration, emphasized that his mother is the spirit of his life. A mother’s prayers, he said, are an unending source of energy in every endeavor.

The Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Management, Samsul Yulianto, views his mother as the family’s role model, whose exemplary values continue to be passed on in daily life.

A deep sense of longing was expressed by Dr. Ana Maghfiroh, M.Pd., B.I, Head of Human Resources, whose words “Mother, I miss you” reflect an emotional bond that transcends time and distance.

For Nurul Sri Wahyuni, M.Kes, Head of Student Certification, a mother is paradise—a figure who brings peace, love, and hope at every stage of life.

The Head of Public Relations and Protocol of UMPO, Eli Purwati, M.I.Kom, highlighted that a mother’s love is manifested through prayers and selfless sacrifices, often unspoken yet deeply felt.

Warm reflections were also shared by Yeni Cahyoni, M.E. Sy, Head of the Institute for Information Systems Development, who stated that her mother is always in her heart, becoming a home for all emotions.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Sudarno, M.T, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, described a mother as a true guardian and protector who brings a sense of security and sincerity.

In closing, the Rector of UMPO, Dr. Rido Kurnianto, M.Ag, stated that a mother’s love is everlasting— a love that never asks for anything in return, yet continuously flows through prayers and sacrifices.
