In her remarks, Head of BNN Trenggalek, Wiji Astuti, SH, expressed hope that this collaboration would become a strategic first step in raising students’ awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
"Through this partnership, we hope to organize various educational activities aimed at students, including seminars, training sessions, and anti-drug campaigns. Moreover, this collaboration can be expanded to involve the communities surrounding the campus, so that the education on drug dangers can have broader and more impactful outreach," said Wiji.
UMPO Rector, Dr. Rido Kurnianto, M.Ag., welcomed the partnership as a form of the university's commitment to supporting the national movement to prevent and eradicate drug abuse. He emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration in creating a healthy and drug-free campus environment.
Through this partnership, both parties agreed to implement preventive and promotive programs that not only focus on students but also reach the broader community, as part of UMPO's dedication to community service.
