UMPO.AC.ID - The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) held a monitoring and evaluation (monev) activity for RisetMu and international grants on Friday, April 17, 2026. The event took place in the 4th floor hall of the campus.
Internal reviewer, Rizal Arifin, M.Sc., M.Si., Ph.D., explained that this activity is part of an internal review process for various research and community service programs conducted by lecturers.
“Today’s activity is an internal review for international research, international community service, as well as RisetMu research and community service programs in 2026,” he said.
He added that the monev aims to monitor and evaluate the progress of research and community service carried out by lecturers.
“We conduct monitoring and evaluation of the progress of research and community service at Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) to observe updates on implementation, achieved outputs, and to provide feedback related to challenges faced,” he added.

“So it is not handled by a single reviewer, but several reviewers, each assigned to conduct monitoring and evaluation,” he explained.
Rizal also mentioned that monev is conducted once in each research period. For this session, the focus covered international research and community service, as well as the RisetMu program.
“On other occasions, monev is also conducted for internal research and community service, as well as those funded by DPPM Kemendikbudristek,” he added.
Through this activity, it is expected that all research and community service conducted by lecturers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) will run well, align with the proposed plans, and achieve the targeted outputs.
“The expectation is that the research runs well, in accordance with the proposed plans, and that the outputs can be achieved as promised,” he concluded.
