UMPO.AC.ID – Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO), through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), held a Belah Durian Thanksgiving event as a form of appreciation for the achievement of more than 100 research and community service proposals submitted under the 2026 DPPM scheme. The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (February 4) at the UMPO Expotorium.
The Vice Rector I of UMPO, Dr. Dian Suluh Kusuma Dewi, M.AP., stated that this achievement is a strong indicator of the high enthusiasm and participation of UMPO lecturers in developing research and community service activities.
“This achievement shows that the spirit and enthusiasm of UMPO lecturers in participating in research programs are truly extraordinary. From a total of 107 proposals that have been uploaded, we hope that all of them will be approved and funded by the Ministry of Research and Technology,” said Dr. Dian.
She added that the increasing participation of lecturers in research and community service reflects UMPO’s strong commitment to continuously strengthening its academic culture while encouraging the production of research with tangible impacts on society.
The thanksgiving event also serves as a moment of collective reflection as well as an opportunity to strengthen synergy among lecturers, LPPM, and university leadership in realizing high-quality, competitive research and community service programs that align with UMPO’s vision as an excellent university.
Through this activity, UMPO hopes that the research and community service ecosystem will continue to grow sustainably, in line with the institution’s efforts to enhance the quality of the tridharma of higher education and make a real contribution to community development.
