UMPO.AC.ID - Another proud achievement was made by graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO). Four FIK graduates were officially accepted as careworkers to Japan in the 2025 program. One of them, Andhika Alfa Novianti, is currently in the process of preparing for departure to Sakura Country.
Andhika is a graduate of the 7th batch of the Nursing Profession Study Program at FIK UMPO. She was accepted to work at Matsudo - Aikoen, Chiba, Japan in the 18th Batch Careworker program. Currently, he is undergoing the preparation stage for departure and will follow further training for 6 months upon arrival in Japan before starting work.
“Alhamdulillah, I am in the process of leaving for Japan. After six months of training, I will start working. The process I went through was quite long, starting from registration, medical tests, filing, psychological tests, language tests, to nursing tests,” said Andhika.
He also expressed his gratitude to all lecturers and teachers at FIK UMPO:
“Thank you to the lecturers and teachers of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, who have patiently guided us. The knowledge I got on campus was very useful and became the main provision in this process.”
The following FIK UMPO graduates were accepted into this program and will be placed in various regions in Japan:
- Andhika Alfa Novianti - Accepted ati Matsudo – Aikoen, Chiba, Jepang (Graduate of the Nursing Profession)
- Vina Nur Arifah - Accepted at Yasuragien - Chiba (S1 Nursing graduate)
- Viedila Sonya J.I - Accepted in Hadanoshojuen - Kanagawa (D3 Nursing graduate)
- Wahyuni Lestari - Accepted at Tenjikai - Okayama (D3 Nursing Graduate)
These four graduates prove that UMPO Faculty of Health Sciences graduates have international competitiveness and are ready to contribute in the global arena, especially in the field of elderly care in Japan.
